Address Card is issued to help the public for establishing their Proof of
Address on contingencies arisen either on outdoor visits or on indoor work
in Government offices, industries, institutions, etc.
Proof of Address Card is
presently issued only within the peripheral limits of Chennai City.

Issued by concerned Head Postmaster after due verification by Public
